Train to Busan

Train to Busan

Back so soon? No way! Well… since the year is ramping up to finish good and proper, our film viewing has suddenly increased and we’re cramming in those films that may make the illustrious end of year list. So, we caught a few films which make that list. Namely, the South Korean zombie-flick Train to Busan (go see this film!), Clint Eastwood’s latest biopic Sully. Andrew caught the latest Nick Cave documentary, One More Time With Feeling – stick round for the song at the end of the show as it’s a heartbreaker. Attempting to woo Bernadette into the world of animation, Andrew forces her to watch Secret Life of Pets. Yet, in defiance, Andrew demanded to not see The Shallows, so Bernadette watched it instead. Finally, Andrew gets educated in the school of pop music with Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Oh, and we slightly go into depth with what the podcast is in comparison to the great Pop Culture Case Study (sorry Dave).

Andrew has been a film lover all of his life. For a while now he's been talking about how great films are and usually that's been directly to his wife, Bernadette. Now with AB Film Review everyone else in the world can listen to what Andrew has to say to his wife. Bernadette grew up renting videos from a Plains Video. She mostly hired out Cry Baby and wore the tape thin learning the lines to the John Waters classic. After a series of arguments in the car ride home with her husband, Andrew, the two decided to record their arguments and launch them into the world for everyone to listen to.
