The Lavazza Italian Film Festival is upon us again. Opening on September 22nd and running through til October 12th, this years festival has all you’d want from an Italian Film Festival. Launching with Perfect Strangers (Perfetti sconosciuti), the festival will showcase a variety of different films including the highly successful Where Am I Going? (Quo vado?), The Space Between which will have Q&A sessions with Melbourne filmmaker Ruth Borgobello, as well as special screenings of classic films: Roman Holiday (which closes out the festival) and Luchino Visconti’s Rocco and His Brothers (Rocco e i suoi fratelli).

There’s a lot more screening alongside these selections, so for more information head along to the Luna Cinemas website to purchase your tickets. Sessions this year are spread across Cinema Paradiso and Luna SX.

Andrew has been a film lover all of his life. For a while now he's been talking about how great films are and usually that's been directly to his wife, Bernadette. Now with AB Film Review everyone else in the world can listen to what Andrew has to say to his wife. Bernadette grew up renting videos from a Plains Video. She mostly hired out Cry Baby and wore the tape thin learning the lines to the John Waters classic. After a series of arguments in the car ride home with her husband, Andrew, the two decided to record their arguments and launch them into the world for everyone to listen to.
