Goldstone Trailer

It’s always nice to arrive at the cinema and watch a trailer for a film you had no idea existed. That’s what happened today when going to see Green Room. Sitting in the dark theatre we were presented with the trailer for Ivan Sen’s latest film Goldstone. For those unfamiliar with Sen’s work, he exploded onto the Australian movie scene with Beneath Clouds and Toomelah – essential films that featured great representation of the indigenous talent in Australia.

Goldstone looks to be another superb entry in Sen’s library of work. Once again teaming up with Mystery Road star Aaron Pedersen, this is a story about a missing person case in the remote frontier town of Goldstone. The cast includes a veritable who’s who of Australian talent with Alex Russell, David Wenham, Jackie Weaver and David Gulpilil rounding out a very full cast. Written by Ivan Sen, this looks to be another stellar entry in Australian cinema for 2016. Check out the trailer below:

Andrew has been a film lover all of his life. For a while now he's been talking about how great films are and usually that's been directly to his wife, Bernadette. Now with AB Film Review everyone else in the world can listen to what Andrew has to say to his wife. Bernadette grew up renting videos from a Plains Video. She mostly hired out Cry Baby and wore the tape thin learning the lines to the John Waters classic. After a series of arguments in the car ride home with her husband, Andrew, the two decided to record their arguments and launch them into the world for everyone to listen to.
