AB Film Review’s 2016 Film Awards – Part One – Best Scene, Best Australian Film, Best Dance Scene, Best Documentary, and More…

Welcome to the first part of AB Film Review’s End of 2016 Awards Show. Spread over three episodes because, well, we simply can’t contain all the different things we have to say in one episode. One day we’ll show restraint, but that day is not today. In this episode, we start our path to drunkenness as we discuss the best scene, best Australian film, best documentary, worst scene, best music/score, best opening sequence, best ensemble, and many many more. This is a long one, and we get fairly loud in it with lots and lots and lots of swearing. There are some spoilers for many different films (Nasty Baby‘s ending is revealed here) as well. Oh, and apologies to the La La Land fans out there, getting drunk caused some outbursts.

The song at the end of this episode is A.B. Original‘s 2 Black 2 Strong.

Andrew has been a film lover all of his life. For a while now he's been talking about how great films are and usually that's been directly to his wife, Bernadette. Now with AB Film Review everyone else in the world can listen to what Andrew has to say to his wife. Bernadette grew up renting videos from a Plains Video. She mostly hired out Cry Baby and wore the tape thin learning the lines to the John Waters classic. After a series of arguments in the car ride home with her husband, Andrew, the two decided to record their arguments and launch them into the world for everyone to listen to.
