89 – Sweet Country, The Disaster Artist, Logan Lucky, Atomic Blonde, The Mountain Between Us

In what could be our final episode for 2017 – that is, if we’re not lazy enough after Christmas to do some wrap up episodes – we launch into some newer films, some older films, and a yet to be released one as well. We kick off with Warwick Thornton’s return to cinema with the exceptional Sweet Country. With The Disaster Artist, we look at the dedication and care that goes in to making one of the worst films of all time – Tommy Wiseau’s The Room. Then, we look back to earlier in the year with Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky and Charlize Theron’s Cold War beat ’em up Atomic Blonde. Finally, love conquers all in the romance version of The Revenant as Kate Winslet and Idris Elba attempt to survive in The Mountain Between Us.

Andrew has been a film lover all of his life. For a while now he's been talking about how great films are and usually that's been directly to his wife, Bernadette. Now with AB Film Review everyone else in the world can listen to what Andrew has to say to his wife. Bernadette grew up renting videos from a Plains Video. She mostly hired out Cry Baby and wore the tape thin learning the lines to the John Waters classic. After a series of arguments in the car ride home with her husband, Andrew, the two decided to record their arguments and launch them into the world for everyone to listen to.
