64 – Red Billabong, Down Under, Bad Moms, Love & Friendship, The Legend of Tarzan, Batman: The Killing Joke

On this episode Andrew and Bernadette dive deep into the water with the new Australian monster flick, Red Billabong. In case you missed our review of Down Under on The Last New Wave, we give a short recap on that film and our thoughts a week later. We check out the new Bad comedy, Bad Moms with Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn. Then we seek out a bit of costume comedy with the Whit Stillman adaptation of Jane Austen’s Love & Friendship (although it had a different name). Finally, Bernadette confesses her desire to see Alexander Skarsgaard in more things after seeing The Legend of Tarzan. She also copped it sweet and caught Batman: The Killing Joke.

Make sure to listen to Andrew’s interview with Red Billabong Writer/Director Luke Sparke here. And find out where Red Billabong is showing by visiting the site here.

Andrew has been a film lover all of his life. For a while now he's been talking about how great films are and usually that's been directly to his wife, Bernadette. Now with AB Film Review everyone else in the world can listen to what Andrew has to say to his wife. Bernadette grew up renting videos from a Plains Video. She mostly hired out Cry Baby and wore the tape thin learning the lines to the John Waters classic. After a series of arguments in the car ride home with her husband, Andrew, the two decided to record their arguments and launch them into the world for everyone to listen to.
